Gene expression of Caspase-3 and metallothionein-2 were assessment by Real time - PCR and the quantification of gene expression levels using the formula 2-ΔΔct were used by Independent t-test. The results showed that the 6 weeks of d CET leads to non-significant decrease in Gene expression of Caspase-3 (P=0.078) and non-significant increase of metallothionein-2 (P=0.513). It seems, continuous endurance training does not to cause apoptotic damage in elderly people and can be used in this population. <strong>هدف پژوهش حاضر، بررسی تأثیر شش هفته تمرین استقامتی تداومی بر بیان ژن کاسپاز-3 و متالوتیونئین</strong><strong>-</strong><strong>2 بافت بطن چپ موش‌های صحرایی نر سالمند بود. تعداد 14 سر‌ موش صحرایی     (26-24 ماهه و میانگین وزنی 20</strong><strong> ± </strong><strong>380 گرم)، به‌طور تصادفی به دو گروه کنترل و تمرین تقسیم شدند. گروه تمرین، تمرین استقامتی تداومی روی تردمیل را به‌مدت شش هفته انجام دادند ( 65 تا 70 درصد سرعت بیشینه).</strong><strong>بیان ژن‌های کاسپاز-3 و ‌متالوتیونئین- 2 بافت بطن چپ با تکنیک </strong><strong>Real time PCR</strong><strong> سنجیده شد و پس از کمی‌سازی مقادیر بیان ژن، با استفاده از فرمول </strong><strong>2-∆∆ct</strong><strong> به‌وسیلة روش آماری تی مستقل بررسی شد (</strong><strong>P < 0.05</strong><strong>). نتایج نشان داد که شش هفته تمرین استقامتی ‌تداومی به کاهش غیرمعنادار بیان ژن کاسپاز-3 (</strong><strong>P = 0.078</strong><strong>) و افزایش غیرمعنا‌دار بیان ژن متالوتیونئین-2 (</strong><strong>P = 0.513</strong><strong>) منجر ­شد. به‌نظر می‌رسد که انجام تمرین‌های استقامتی تداومی در سالمندان خطر آسیب‌های ناشی از آپوپتوز را القا نمی‌کند و می‌تواند در این جمعیت به‌کار گرفته شود.</strong> https://spj.ssrc.ac.ir/article_1423_856fc81623da2150ba2210ba1b51d241.pdf
