چکیده

هدف از انجام این مطالعه، بررسی تغییرات اکسیداسیون سوبسترا در هنگام فعالیت ورزشی با مصرف چای سفید در مردان چاق بود. تعداد 10 مرد جوان چاق (میانگین سنی  47/0 ±00/19 سال، قد  32/4 ± 80/181 سانتی‌متر، وزن 84/8 ±20/104 کیلوگرم،   BMI 93/1 ± 20/31 کیلوگرم بر مترمربع، درصد چربی 62/2 ± 80/25 درصد) به‌صورت متقاطع و متعادل، یک بار 500 میلی‌لیتر آب و یک بار 500 میلی‌لیتر چای سفید دم‌کرده را با فاصلة یک هفته از هم در حالت ناشتا مصرف کردند. یک ساعت پس از مصرف، درحالی‌که دستگاه گاز آنالایزر به آن‌ها وصل بود، فعالیت فزاینده‌ای را تا حد خستگی روی نوار گردان انجام دادند. میزان اکسیداسیون چربی و کربوهیدرات طی فعالیت با استفاده از روش کالری سنجی غیرمستقیم اندازه‌گیری شد. برای هر فرد، میزان حداکثر اکسیداسیون چربی (MFO) و شدتی از فعالیت که MFO در آن رخ می‌دهد (FATmax)، تعیین شد. آزمون آماری تی وابسته نشان داد که مقدار MFO (P = 0.011) و اکسیداسیون چربی در مرحلة سوم (P = 0.023) فعالیت، در شرایط مصرف چای سفید به‌طور معناداری بالاتر از مصرف آب بود. تفاوت معناداری در FATmax، زمان رسیدن به واماندگی، ضربان قلب بیشینه و حداکثر اکسیژن مصرفی در بین دو شرایط مشاهده نشد. به‌نظر می‌رسد که مصرف چای سفید یک ساعت قبل از فعالیت ورزشی می‌تواند باعث افزایش اکسیداسیون چربی در مردان چاق شود.
